Cooking On A Wood Cook Stove

Barbara Swell is keeping the art of cooking on a wood cook stove alive in her retro kitchen located in a 1940s kitchen in an east Asheville log cabin. The kitchen is complete with a 1928 Home Comfort wood cook stove, gadgets, mixers, bowls, and heirloom recipes. She teaches hands-on classes, including recipes and take-home food or an in-class feast. Read more here
